Who Are You? What kind of question is that???

Hi I’m Pam…

Follower of  Jesus Christ…Entrepreneur and business woman…Wife of Tom Wolf…Mother of Nick, Amanda and Megan…Grandmother of Makayla…Facilitator of Boundaries classes at my church…and the list goes on…

But wait…those are all things that I do… roles that I fill…tasks that I take on.

Is that really who I am???

It all goes back to those social gatherings… where we  meet and greet people we don’t know…and after a bit of idle conversation…the question always comes around to… “What do you do?”

In today’ culture, many of us have allowed our roles and our jobs to define who we are…a dangerous set of beliefs when those things can change so quickly…or be altered dramatically due to circumstances beyond our control.

So, what if someone were to really press you on the question,   “Who are you?”

Could you answer?

Would you be willing or able to answer?

As for me…the answer is yes on both counts.

I finally know that “who I am” goes far beyond what role or job I’m in.

That is NOT what defines me anymore!    But, it took a journey of discovery to really figure it out.

How cool to finally know who I am, at my core.  To know the very essence of why I was created.

I’ll share my answer with you if you’ll share yours with me…

So, my question is…”Who are you?”

I seeks to help others discover their purpose and find a message of hope through Identity and Destiny. God is allowing me to use all of my story – even the trials and pain. The kind of hope that can only come from finding a way to walk victoriously through the hard places in life. And what I have learned is this…if you will allow Him…God wants to use YOU to help others – not in spite of your past – but because of it!!!
